Gearbox Gasket Sets

Both Spesso and Record, Italy's two premier manufacturers of gaskets, have discontinued the manufacture of gearbox gasket sets for the Montecarlo and Scorpion. As a result we've had to commission new tooling so that we can remanufacture this gasket set ourselves.

The good news is we've now all but completed this exercise and you'll be able to obtain gasket sets from us again in the very near future. Our new supplier is a prolific european manufacturer and the quality of these new gaskets will be of the very highest. Naturally these kits will be complete with all the necessary 'O' rings and rubber seals.

You can pre-order these new gasket sets at our on-line shop or by clicking HERE. We expect to be able to ship these new kits within 2-3 weeks.

Sports-style Rear Bumper

If you're familiar with the world of Formula 1 Grand Prix racing you may have heard about the latest controversy concerning diffusers and hot and cold exhaust blowing. Essentially this is all about using exhaust gases to create downforce via the car's diffuser while the driver's foot is off the throttle. We're delighted to tell you that our new Sports-style Rear Bumper probably won't have any effect whatsoever on the downforce that's generated by your Montecarlo or Scorpion, even if you've gone to the trouble of fitting a diffuser!

Instead, notice how the line of the rear wheel arch flares has been carried through to the sides of the rear bumper, the neat indent that makes the bumper look less bulky and the sculpted slots that aid hot air extraction from the engine bay.

All-in-all we hope you'll find this a stylish addition to our range of exterior trim. We've made the price the same as our standard rear bumper so you get individuality at no extra cost. Order one now for just £332.50 (plus VAT where applicable).

Headlight Upgrade Kit

TMH usually has several development projects running, each in various stages of completion. Naturally, we're a little coy about telling our customers too much too soon - just in case things don't pan out the way we hope they will. But one project that is rapidly coming to fruition is our new QuadView™ headlamp kit. You probably know that new headlights to the original Montecarlo pattern are unobtainable nowadays, so if your reflectors go dull or your lenses get broken you'll have a real problem on your hands. At one time we used to recondition old headlight units by fitting new reflectors, but that didn't solve the problem of holed, cracked or broken lenses. Then we managed to get a few acrylic lenses manufactured but only for left-hand drive cars. Now both the supplier and our moulds are gone, so we decided to have a radical re-think.

However desirable it might be to have a totally original car, many people have been critical of the light output of the original headlights. Over the years we've seen many one-off and a few limited-production conversions to quad headlights. This type of conversion undoubtedly improves night-time visibility but usually seems to involve irreversibly modifying the headlamp mounting area and the front grille. After a great deal of development, we've now managed to produce a quad headlight system that's a direct replacement for the original headlights. It even mounts to the original headlight spiders, so beam adjustment is as simple as it is with the original lights. This means that owners can now remove their precious original headlamps and replace them with our QuadView™ lights, safe in the knowledge that they can re-fit their original lights whenever they want to.

We've incorporated all the relays and wiring needed to get the maximum power to these units - all you'll need to do is plug in your original lighting connectors and make a simple connection to your battery. That's about as close as we can get to a 'fit and forget' system. We've tried to make our prices as competitive as possible, but remember we have to recoup all the design and tooling costs somehow! We've set ourselves what we hope is a realistic target for sales of these lights and spread our costs over the first production batch. This gives us a selling price of just £495.00 excluding VAT for a complete set of four lights. That's £594.00 inclusive of VAT if you live in the UK or Europe. These lights are available for both left-hand and right-hand drive cars and can be fitted to a Scorpion, though you'll need to fit a new Montecarlo noseband and our noseband support panel ends as well.

We need at least six firm orders, together with a 50% deposit, before we can begin production. Once we have enough orders we expect to be able to ship the first batch of lights within four weeks. If you'd like more information or you want to place an order, please send us an e-mail at
